On March 4th, 2025, two PhD students from the ai-FaMe Lab—Miss Sophie Xue and Jiayu Wang—delivered an engaging and interactive AI tutorial titled "Creating Green Fashion Marketing Campaigns Using Generative AI" to MA students in Sustainable Fashion Innovation (SFI).
The session began with an overview of key generative AI concepts and an introduction to various AI platforms, followed by interactive exercises using cutting-edge GenAI tools for image generation and video production tailored to fashion marketing. After Sophie and Jiayu’s tutorials, students had the opportunity to create their own avatars, digital humans, and virtual stores using the AI tools introduced during the session. Sophie and Jiayu also remained afterward to assist students with technical issues and respond to additional questions.
We are incredibly proud of Sophie and Jiayu for offering SFT MA students a valuable opportunity to deepen their AI literacy and gain hands-on experience with diverse GenAI tools to strengthen their green fashion branding and marketing strategies.
