On February 25, 2025, Ms. Szeman CHONG, a senior research associate and RPg student from the ai-FaMe Lab, delivered a tutorial titled "Creating Green Digital Fashion Designs in the Metaverse" to MA students in the Sustainable Fashion Innovation (SFI) program at SFT.
Szeman began with a concise introduction to the concept of the fashion metaverse (FaMe), followed by step-by-step guidance on how to create digital fashion items and immersive virtual environments using platforms such as ZEPETO and ReadyPlayerMe.
Following Szeman’s thorough and supportive guidance, students were invited to explore the platforms themselves—customizing avatars, entering the ZEPETO metaverse, an socializing in virtual spaces.The session was both educational and highly engaging, offering students a unique opportunity to experience the creative and strategic possibilities of the metaverse in green fashion marketing.
